Project / Programme Manager
If you are an experienced Project/Programme Manager and enjoy complex and challenging highly secure environments, then we have an opportunity for you. The task will allow you to join as a Senior or Lead Consultant with management responsibility for some less experienced members of the team, and you will be a key part of a current programme of work being delivered.
You will join a collaborative working environment where you will be rapidly mobilised into a client facing project utilising hybrid working – combining working from home with the client site at MoD Corsham.
As you may be aware, the UK MoD is full of demanding stakeholders and complex projects and it is your job to manage expectations and lead the team down the path of best practice. You will be the kind of person that enjoys influencing people to your way of thinking.
You will use your experience of MoD and/or Defence projects and influencing what can be a challenging stakeholder community to keep your project milestones on target, You will be required to use best practice PM methodologies such as APM, Prince2, MoR or if you have not yet achieved all of them SA Group will support you in your continued professional development (CPD) and it will form part of your initial professional development planning.
Here at SA Group we have a growing client facing consultancy team made up of Project/Programme Managers, Enterprise/Solution Architects, Cyber Professionals, Technical specialists focused on networks, infrastructure, cloud, and Test Managers. The consultancy team is fully supported by a back office team.
The majority of our work is focused on MoD projects, however, that has also spread into Digital Transformation and System Engineering disciplines in both the wider public and private sector.

Technical / Solutions Architect
Imagine a new opportunity where you are part of an architectural advisory capability; where you can use your technical capabilities to evolve the architecture of your customers, and where you can grow and broaden your own skills.
You will join our expanding consultancy team with responsibility for the definition and delivery of architectural solutions – from vision to reality. You will work externally with MoD and UK Government customers to meet business objectives and be accountable for ensuring that the design and development of those solutions are sustainable and fit-for-purpose for current and future business needs. We can align your skills to suit the most appropriate projects for both your current abilities and areas you are looking to develop.
Working with external stakeholders, you will collaborate closely with delivery teams in both the definition and realisation of architectural solutions. In your work you will benefit from collaboration with some of the brightest minds and best experts in the field.
At Lead / Principal Consultant level SA Group expect you to hold at least Incorporated status with a commitment to achieve Chartered status (e.g. IEng moving to CEng via the IET or CITP via the BCS);

Technical / Solutions Architect (Law Enforcement Programmes)
Keeping our communities safe is a very important task and that is why supporting our law enforcement communities is a vital and rewarding assignment.
If you are interested in new opportunities then you will be able to join a largely remote team delivering a range of technical and solution architecture services and support to law enforcement projects adopting secure and complex cloud solutions.
Supporting Home Office projects of this nature there are client sites across UK and some travel to your nearest ones will be required however both our customer and ourselves fully support remote working.
We also have significant activity across secure MoD programmes and opportunities to be assigned onto those projects will be available also should you wish, these will provide you with a variety of different project challenges, client interfaces and team members to work with.
The technical needs of these projects will require your knowledge of cloud technologies and solutions, government security standards and Agile / DevOps ways of working.
You will have worked on secure programmes recently and as a result you should still have live security clearance to SC or DV, or if you are in the position where the clearance has lapsed then we would still consider you but there may be a delay to start dates.

Security Assurance Adviser / Coordinator
If you enjoy reviewing documents for complex systems and assuring compliance against strict standards, advising on JSP440 and JSP604, producing RMADS and PIA documentation, chairing security working groups, scoping vulnerability assessments and penetration testing activities, then we’d like to hear from you.
We have a growing number of opportunities that will challenge you to grow your technical knowledge as well as use your current capabilities.
The standard range of qualifications you may have already achieved includes CCP SIRA, CCP ITSO, CISSP, CISM and if you are interested in developing further then we will be able to support you to do just that.
You may be required to support a range of MoD programmes primarily in Corsham or Hereford classified at Secret or Secret and Above so this will utilise the SC or DV clearance you hold.
